Hi, I am the owner of JD's Rodd Shoppe
and here is a little history of
my hot rodding experience.
I have had an interest in old cars from an early age,
attending the local rod and custom car shows yearly, looking at all the cars, talking to the people, and implanting ideas in my head of what I want to do myself. One of the areas I have always had an interest in is, add on accessories that dress up hot rods....to give them that kool factor.
add on's can make a car, whether you are going for the ... kool look, or the high end polished aluminum look.
Both ways look equally good on cars.
I started out as a 60's car guy, owning various 60's cars, then seeing my brother being a 50's and older type of car guy, he slowly convinced me to look at the older vehicles,
I bought my first older vehicle, a 1956 CHEV PANEL VAN "truck"
The truck sat in my garage for 3 years with me debating if I really wanted to get into this, and on the 4th year I said ok, lets do this, and the build began.
We built this truck, and I had a blast with it, then I was hooked on the older vehicles,
and wanted something older yet, so I traded the panel for my
1929 ESSEX 3 WINDOW RUMBLE SEAT COUPE  "RAT ROD"
My brother once again, came to my rescue, helping me build this car too.
In the mean time, during all this, we formed a local car club here in saskatoon....called  "THE SHIFTER CAR CLUB"
bringing together people who also have a passion for this hobby.

We at JD's Rodd Shoppe want to help you
find the parts and accessories you need to make your dream car a reality
whether it is a RAT ROD or a POLISHED HOT ROD
